The Custom Jewelry Process

The process begins with an idea or a rough drawing that you can fax or email to us. From company logos to personal drawings, we do it all. You could even send us a picture of a piece of jewelry from a magazine. You will have to specify size, what kind of stones (if you want stones), and the type of metal (10K, 14K, 18K, Platinum or SS).

When we receive your artwork we will analyze it to determine the best way to create this piece.

There are many possibilities when creating a unique piece of jewelry; whether is a ring, a pendant, earrings, a bracelet or even a belt buckle (or any other object of your desire). This includes the ergonomics of the item, the weight and so forth. Sometimes there are beautiful ideas that look great when rendered, but they are impossible to create for a fair dollar amount. So, a few aspects of the piece have to be revised before production. We will be in contact with you through all this process.

With many of customers at our location in Longwood, Florida we prepare at least one rendering without any deposit since we know the customer and know that the customer is serious about getting the item custom made. Sometimes we will require a small deposit just to make the rendering. The reason for this is that to create the first rendering takes hours of work. We evaluate each case individually depending of the degree of work.

Keep in mind that this work is an original and there will be no mold (unless specified).

Once all aspects of the piece are clear and the customer is well aware of the cost involved, weight of the piece, number of stones (diamonds, color stones, pearls, etc.) and carat weight, we will take a 50% deposit and the other 50% is due at time of completion. There is no refund for custom made items.

Total amount of time varies depending on our load of work and the intricacy of the piece involved. We have been able to produce a piece in 10 days, but the average time frame that we are comfortable in giving is within 30 days.

Another fact to remember or to keep in mind; we could use your own gold or silver to manufacture your piece. Please keep in mind that whenever we use customer’s gold or silver, we are not responsible for the quality of the finished product, as some impurities might exist in the metal.
