I recommend taking your precious jewelry for inspection
every four to six month. Most of the time people wait until there is a problem
with their piece of jewelry to take it in, this is no inspection, this would be
called a repair. Once there is an obvious problem; like missing stone, broken prong,
split shank, etc., it could be an indication of further unseen damage to your jewelry.
